About Measured Stitch
Hi, I'm Katie — a data engineer in Texas who happens to love making quilts.
I started Measured Stitch (formerly T-Shirt Quilt Pattern) because I believe your memories deserve better than a box in the attic. Every t-shirt, every photo, every moment captured in fabric tells a story — and I wanted to help people tell those stories without the frustration of guessing measurements or wasting fabric.
Why I do this
My faith drives what I do. I believe faith is expressed through action — taking what you're given and using it to serve others. For me, that means building something that helps people preserve what matters most.
The long game
I'm building Measured Stitch to create financial independence so I can eventually focus on what really lights me up — using my quilting skills to serve others. This business is the vehicle that gets me there.
